Official website to reveal anime supergroup's announcement

The anime music supergroup JAM Project began streaming a teaser video on Friday stating "something will happen! Next field will be...check the official site!" The announcement will be made on July 1. The video features five different colored dragons flying across a mountainous landscape, similar to the setting in the group's video "Wings of legend."

JAM Project consists of veteran anime theme musicians such as Ichirō Mizuki, Hironobu Kageyama, Rica Matsumoto, Eizō Sakamoto, Hiroshi Kitadani, Masaaki Endō, Masami Okui, and Yoshiki Fukuyama. The supergroup has performed songs for éX-Driver, Gravion, MazinKaiser, New Getter Robo, Robonimal Panda-Z: The Robonimation, Scrapped Princess, The SoulTaker, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster GX, and their most famous collaboration, the anime-based Super Robot Wars game franchise. The group performed a South American tour last July, and Otakon again hosted the group as part of a 20th anniversary music festival in November.

JAM Project contributed the ending theme song "R.I.P. - Tomo yo Shizuka ni Nemure" for the sixth installment of the Space Battleship Yamato 2199 anime series/film project, which opened in 16 theaters in Japan on June 15.
