posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
This year's 18th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is revealing on Monday that Naruto is joining the lineup of Namco Bandai Games' J-Stars Victory Vs. "team battle action" video game, previously known as "Project Versus J." Naruto is shown in the magazine in his post-timeskip (Naruto Shippūden) outfit. Previously-announced characters include Toriko (Toriko), Luffy (One Piece), and Goku (Dragon Ball Z). Fans can also vote for some of the characters that will be featured in the game.
Namco Bandai Games is launching the "ultimate Jump game" on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita systems sometime this year. The 3D fighting game will allow players to use Naruto's "Shadow Clone," Luffy's "Gum Gum Stamp," Toriko's "Nail Punch," and Goku's "Kamehameha" moves. Monday's issue is also revealing that the game will feature many different stages to battle on, such as One Piece's Alabasta Kingdom.
The game is a part of the 45th anniversary celebrations for the magazine being held in 2013. The price and exact release date have yet to be announced.
