Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: ASB Game's 1-Minute Ad Aired
posted on by Egan Loo
A new one-minute commercial for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle, the new fighting game inspired by Hirohiko Araki's manga, began airing in Japan. The new ad features Caesar and Esidisi.
JoJolion (Jōsuke Higashikata), the lead character of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's eighth manga part, will join the game as a playable character. The game will also include the following new characters: Giorno Giovanna, Guido Mista, Noriaki Kakyouin, and Jean Pierre Polnareff.
The game will feature a "style" button that, when used, allows the characters to launch into their own battle style. The player can also invoke special poses such as the "stylish move" pose, which makes it possible to avoid damage while also mocking an opponent.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle is scheduled for August 29, and the first copies of the limited and regular editions will both include a Hayato Kawajiri memo pad and a download code for the Yoshikage Kira character. There will also be a limited-number "Gold Experience Box" containing a gold art plate with an etching of Giorno Giovanna and Gold Experience by Araki in an acrylic case, a figure of Jōtarō Kujo and Star Platinum (that can be displayed with an August prize figure of Dio), and a soundtrack CD.
The regular edition will cost 7,980 yen (about US$85), while the limited-edition "Gold Experience Box" will cost 16,980 yen (about US$182). CyberConnect2 is developing the game for the PlayStation 3 console.
Namco Bandai Games posted the game's five-minute promotional video last month.
