A trailer for the upcoming Akiba's Trip Plus, the updated version of the 2011 vampire-hunting action game released by Acquire, was posted on Wednesday. The trailer reveals various improvements made to the game in its new version, including fully-voiced event scenes, a recreation of Tokyo's Akihabara (Akiba) revised for 2012 (the town the game takes place in), "refined" character models, new modes, missions, and costumes, and more.
The game's story begins when vampires attack a young man, controlled by the player, while he is visiting Akiba. A girl named Rui rescues him and recruits him to join a group of vampire hunters. He fights against vampires by attacking them with various weapons and removing their clothes so that sunlight destroys them.
