The Japanese game developer 5pb. began streaming the 169-second opening movie to its suspense fiction adventure game Dunamis15 on Wednesday. The opening movie features "Kimi ga Boku Nara," the game's theme song composed by 5pb.'s head Chiyomaru Shikura and sung by Kokomi.
The story is set at Ceres Academy, a coed school on a secluded island named Duramis Base. After the entire world is overrun by genetic abnormalities caused by war, clones were created as research material to preserve the "normal" genes. The students of Ceres Academy happen to be those clones. Life is seemingly tranquil for the students until a certain incident leads them to rise up violently.
The game will ship for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in Japan on September 15. Other titles that 5pb. worked on include Chaos;HEAd, Steins;Gate, and Memories Off.
