Metal Gear Solid, Catherine, Toriko Game Promos Posted

Konami began streaming a gameplay video for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD on YouTube last Friday. The promotional video previews the upcoming remastered HD version of the game originally released for PSP last year. This game will be part of a Metal Gear Solid HD Collection coming this November on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The collection will also include Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

Atlus U.S.A. began streaming a new "Catherine or Katherine?" video for its upcoming Catherine game on Monday. Catherine is a collaboration between the Japanese game studio Atlus (Persona) and the Genius Party animators at Studio 4°C. The game revolves around Vincent, a corporate employee who suffers insomnia until he meets a mysterious woman named Catherine, after which he begins having nightmares.

The game will ship on July 26 for the PlayStation and Xbox 360 consoles.

On Tuesday, Bandai Namco Games began streaming a television commercial and a promotional video for the Toriko Gourmet Survival game for the PSP system. Like Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro's Toriko manga and anime, the game falls in its own "gourmet hunting action" genre. The game will ship in Japan on August 4 in a limited first edition that includes a Toriko Itadakimaster game card — an original rare Mantle Potage ingredient card.
