Daily Video: English-Dubbed Sacred Blacksmith Clips

The North American anime distributor Funimation has revealed two English-dubbed video clips from their upcoming release of the fantasy television anime The Sacred Blacksmith. The videos, posted to Funimation's official blog via YouTube, encourage viewers to guess the cast of voice actors by listening to the clips. The company also announced that the first two English-dubbed episodes would be made available at its official video site at 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Wednesday.
Media Factory's 12-episode anime adaptation of Isao Miura's The Sacred Blacksmith (Seiken no Blacksmith) "unconventional fantasy" light novels takes place after an devastating war that foisted "Demon Contracts" upon the population until they were banned. Cecily Campbell, a noble's daughter who joined a knighthood, encounters a mysterious young blacksmith named Luke Ainsworth. Masamitsu Hidaka (Linebarrels of Iron, Pokémon, Juu Senshi Garukiba) directed the project at the Manglobe anime studio (Ergo Proxy, Michiko to Hatchin, Samurai Champloo). Masashi Suzuki (Kanokon, Minami-ke: Okawari, Shuffle!) oversaw the scripts, and Jun Nakai (Tokyo Majin) adapted Runa's original character designs for anime.
