Bridgestone Sells Dragon Ball Golf Balls in Japan
posted on by Egan Loo
Bridgestone Sports announced this month that it will release Dragon Ball V10 golf balls on December 15. True to the original balls from the anime that inspired them, these "super orange" balls come in packs of seven, and they each have a different number of red stars on them. The new release is a variant of the Tourstage V10 line, which is known for its maximum distance and spin performance. A pack of seven balls will have a suggested retail price of 5,145 yen (about US$61.55, tax included).
Bridgestone Sports is part of the same company that sells Bridgestone tires worldwide. A fan who first read Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball manga as a 10-year-old in 1984 would now be 36.
