Trivia:
The main antagonist, Tutankhamun, is based upon the boy pharaoh of the same name. Likewise, the archaeologist who uncovered his tomb, Howard Carter, makes an appearance in the first episode of the OVA. (NOTE: Incidentally, the OVA takes place in approximately the same year as the real-world discovery of Tut's tomb: 1922.)
