Plot Summary:
Based on the manga, "Romance of Darkness" (literally, "The Flower that Lives in the Water") is a slow-paced, gently thrilling tale of how legend comes to life in a small town. Rikka is the sole survivor of a bus accident during a school trip, with nothing but a vague memory of a man's hand on her face while she struggled in the water. After her recovery, Rikka finds that more and more she needs to be in the water, and when another girl also named Rikka appears at her school and tries to kill her, Rikka realizes there was more to her survival than just luck.
