Little Witch Academia Ask & Win Contest

Magic users, rejoice! Little Witch Academia, the 2013 animated short produced by Trigger, is coming to Blu-ray this August. In conjunction with Trigger and Good Smile Company, we're giving you a chance to win merchandise autographed by members of the Trigger team; one lucky grand prize winner will also receive an autographed collector's edition of Little Witch Academia. All you have to do is send in interview questions for script writer Masahiko Otsuka, who was also one of the founding members of the studio. If your question is picked, not only will you receive a fabulous prize, but you will also see his answer to your question published on Anime News Network later this year.

Produced for Anime Mirai 2013, Little Witch Academia centers around young Akko Kagari, who joins an academy for witches. She has a difficult time in school and prefers just hanging out with her classmates, but dangerous, unforeseen events require her and her friends to put their bravery and knowledge to the test. The Collector's Edition will come with 1 Blu-ray disc that includes the 26-minute episode of Little Witch Academia, a never-before-seen 66-minute making-of video, an original soundtrack disc (details not finalized), and a collectible 112-page art book.

Ten (10) winners will receive an item autographed by the members of Trigger. Out of those ten, one (1) lucky grand prize winner (randomly selected from the 10) will also receive an autographed copy of the Little Witch Academia collector's edition. The contest will end Friday, June 28 at 11:59 PM PST. Winners will be notified by email shortly thereafter. Due to nature of these types of contests, we often receive multiple entries with similar questions; winners from entries with similar questions are chosen at random. The contest is open to everyone, but prizes will only be shipped to addresses in the United States and Canada. All entries that do not provide a full mailing address (Street address, City, State, Zip) will be discarded.

If your question isn't picked, don't worry. For those who are planning on attending Anime Expo or who live in the Los Angeles area, you can still have a chance at cool prizes. There will be a private fan event with Mr. Otsuka on July 6 at the JW Marriott, and 50 lucky winners will be invited. The event will include a screening of a never-before-seen Making Of video, a Q&A session with Mr. Otsuka, and a gift for fans.
