Its unfortunate that a person has to die at such and age. But he will be remembered in his artform and fans.

Definitely too young to be dying of something like that.
By the way, a note to the editors, he died of acute heart disease, not "acute heart decease".

Very sad. A young guy who did very good work. He will be remembered. And I hope that when The Melody of Oblivion hits DVD in the states soon that they add some special words for him somewhere in the release.

Animators have a very stressful life. It may not be shocking over there that he would die so young... I feel really sorry for him. And to all the animators out there, I wish they didn't have to be so overworked and underpaid.
My heart almost jumped when I first read the news though, I thought it said "Takaaki Wada" at first and if HE deid I'd be even more shocked because I've seen some of his animation which is really just *wow*. There was one ep of Gankutsuou that he animated entirely by himself and it's one of the best animated eps, too...
Sigh. It's like the director of Whisper of the Heart who IIRC died not too long after the show was finished. Yoshifumi Kondo, I think,...

This f-----G bites, dead at 39?!? and not to mention that he was behind 2 of my favorite series; Gunparade March & Getto robo Armedgeddon. sad news along with the passing of producer Debra Hill (Halloween,The Fog,Escape from New York.) I guess plans for the long awaited EFNY Anime is on definite hold. Meaning development hell.

It's good to see you're showing remorse, but you don't need to put so many O's in your "NO."
EDIT: Thank you for cutting out most of the O's Tempest. And I agree with Nagisa, I too thought it was a little disrespectful to just have a giant blob of "NO" all across the post.
Can't say I'm knowledgeable enough of Wada-san's work other than his amazing job in AzuDai, but for what it's worth, it's sad to see him go and not even halfway through life yet...
My salute:
