Doesn't really mean anything. They also have Cutie Honey, and haven't announced a U.S. release.

Yeah, I can confirm that, at the beginning of Cutie Honey, there is indeed the Warner Brothers logo. But it's just Warner Japan. The crew members there even asked jokingly at the Fantasia screening I attended whether any of us wanted to distribute it in North America, meaning they didn't have any kind of distributor, at least not in July.
