I like Whistle!, but is it a smart move to release a manga series from an author who still doesn't have a good track record in the U.S.?

Hunter X Hunter is by Yoshihiro Togashi, not "Hurohiko Araki..."

What are you talking about GATSU? If they want to release Legendz even though they just released Whistle!, there's no rule that says they can't.

There's nothing stopping them, but it might be a bad business move.

They're two books from the same author who has yet to establish himself here. They might end up cancelling each other out, in terms of appeal, and convincing buyers to go for the titles and authors with more name-power.

I really don't think that's an issue. ADV released Loki Ragnarok and Tactics at the same time and it doesn't seem to be affecting sales.

No Outlaw Star huh? I was kind of looking forward to it, as there are few good straight forward, action mangas out today (I was really disapointed by ARMS, as I was expecting something like Spriggan). Does this mean Monster is a fluke too, since they didn't announce it? I hope not, that would really be a loss. Would it kill Viz to actually announce all their titles?

This is great. I have wanted Jojo and HxH to get here. 2005 is going to be a great year.

Yeah, glad to see Eyeshield getting stateside. Although I'm a little interested in seeing how they handle Hiruma's habit of attaching the word '[expletive]' to every other word(and the handy guide to English slang for penis).

Amazon seems to have the author wrong on it though. x.x; That's a bit disconcerting.
