Seeing as I have no clue who distibutes for them in Canada (though I bet Pepperidge does) I honestly have to wonder if this deal will one day extend to Canada.

I'm just wondering what WEA will do with the Anime 18 line.

I doubt it will affect all that much in Canada, since, over the past couple of years, I've had no difficulty finding CPM titles for a reasonable price in stores.

I have. This gets a big BOOOOOOOOO from me.

Seriously, shouldn't Warner of ALL companies be able to handle distribution in Canada?

Curious about that myself. Those constitue the majority of their releases, after all. Smile

In resposne to both Pepperidge and Tenchi, you wouldn't believe how easy I can find hentai from Anime18 in my town. I have no huge issues when it come to finding CPM stuff, but it would be cool overall if WEA and CPM decided to make it easier to find anime in Canada. Dropping in and around $100 for a Project A-KO box is not exactly on my to-do list.

Hmm... the brick-and-mortar DVD retail stores in Montreal seem to beat DVDBoxoffice.com for CPM stuff... I know I paid less than $30 for the Collector's Series edition of the first Project A-Ko (with CD), and I think the box is more like $70, not $100.

Weird.
