Interesting. I remember asking Seven Sea's about this title on their Tumblr page a while back and they seemed to indicate they didn't have much interest in it. Glad to see they reconsidered.

It's been in the works for a while, but for what it's worth, we had received numerous requests across social media for the title. Wink

Yay! Now I can stop complaining about Comic Walker posting three chapters of this in Spring 2014 and promptly dropping off the face of the Earth (unless you're really into Sgt. Frog, I guess). Amusingly, a fourth chapter is scheduled to appear in two weeks.

Now, I wonder if we all put in enough preorders, maybe we can get Seven Seas to also license the comedic Angel Beats! The 4-Koma that runs as a montly feature in Dengeki G's. Pissed-off chibi Yuri Nakamura is a thing to behold.

So happy with this news! And, just realised this, but my 2016 manga buying (Jan and Feb) only consists of SS titles, in terms of new manga series. Though, there's just 3.

Jan - Orange omni 1 and My Monster Secret vol 1
Feb - Angel Beats Heaven's Door vol 1

Seriously, though, be sure to branch out a little. There are Key-like things that are not Key, and often better.

Yes, including all 27 volumes of the Clannad manga. Anything.

I'll admit straight up to being a Key fanboy and giving them lots of my money, but it's not like I'm stuck in a rutt on that front, I've seen/read a good 400 other series and plenty of other VN's as well. Key's just my favorite.
