I'm surprised the 2nd series was picked over the first series for 1#

Wicked, Btooom got 2nd. Very Happy I've been reading the manga (helps that Junya Inoue's my fave videogame artist), and I'd love for the anime to get a continuation because it's gotten even better. Sadly, I don't think it's gonna happen.

I didn't really like Btooom! whole lot. It did a really good job with suspense and character emotions, but otherwise I thought it was really meh.

Is the Liar Game manga complete? I think I want to pick that up if it is.

EDIT: Didn't realize it isn't even licensed here in the States... Crying or Very sad

I was expecting Dangan Ronpa to be here, but then again, it was originally a video game...

My favorite game of death/survival manga is Suicide Island but it is too socio critical to get any form of adaptation going and too nihilistic to be mass market friendly and Gantz isn´t listed Confused. Liar Game turns out to be something different in the end and i would be surprised if part 2 wasn´t in the cards.

Holy artillery! I was not expecting (more like praying BADLY) for "As the gods will" to appear here. In my opinion it's actually really good with the suspense and everything.

I think of the series that could qualify for this genre, the only one that I like is Eden of the East

Voted for Hannah Anafeloz, the hot brown maid from the second season and the only reason I continued to watch that season and the reason I'm not watching anything afterward.

The scanlations are complete, if you're looking to finish the series. But yes, it's unlicensed. Though this list just reminded me I wanted to check out Doubt, Secret, and Judge.

That was my first thought; such a fantastic series. Great character developement, shocking twists and turns plus awesome action should have at least placed it in this list. even with that aside, knowing that only one teen can make it off the island should make it the most or one of the most deadly games.
