Ok...Haven't decided on the manga, but is the show actually worth watching? If he was on Yo! MTV Raps(Does that still exist?), Pimp My Ride, or BET, then it'd make more sense.

Im suprised that you would ask this question, considering you seem to be a blackhole of random information. This ender a LONG time ago. I don't even know what MTV has on now, I haven't watched them in years.
But Inoue is a pretty big celebrity from what I understand. He has his own clothing line and everything. I'll watch it.

That's weird. How did he get this gig? I wonder what the "dream home" would look like? I'm guessing no "hallways made of breasts leading to a door shaped like a vagina" like in his manga Wink.

when he helps to create a dream on ABC’s # 1 television series: Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

I guess that means he's one of the celeberties they bring in to help them design something.

We had the guys from something like "Surprise Makeover" come into my restaurant the other day... In case you all were wondering, reality TV is not.

What's "Surprise Makeover"?

So, they have celebs on that show? My mom watches it all the time. I'm sure she'll be calling me the minute they say "Japanese" when introducing him. I guess the people are manga fans. That's so cool!

From what I gathered, it's a show that "grabs people off the street" (even though we knew about a day in advance) and then does all sorts of trendy things to them. Not surprisingly, we did way more covers at work that night than normal.

Are we off-topic yet?

I thought that was Ambush Makeover, and not necessarily.

If Inoue's a helper, I'll be interested to see who the heck needs the house.

"I had sex...THIS many times"

Twisted Evil

I think Akamatsu coud use a make over Razz

He needs more pimping glasses and a new hairdo!

*LOL*

Did any of you see his wedding pictures? He had a Love Hina wedding for pete's sake! I'd have cried my eyes out if my husband wanted a themed wedding based off his work. (A very Microsoft wedding anyone?)

Now I'm not disputing his taste in manga, guy knows his stuff there, but his choices outside of manga are a bit sketchy.

All things considered I don't know much about Santa Inoue but if he's got a clothing line he's gotta have more style than Ken Akamatsu. It should be interesting to see what he does.

I just have one question: Let's say his appearance in Extreme Makeover makes the manga sell well. Do you guys think american hip hop fans will respect it or diss it?
