Daisuki -- not quite as irrelevant as The Anime Network.

When I read the title to this article, I thought, "Oh, good, some people outside the US and Canada will have a legit source for these two titles", but that wasn't the case.

Although this isn't the first time that a title licensed by Funimation has appeared at Daisuki, the previous titles were announced in the same time frame as Funimation. The examples I can think of off the top of my head also included other territories.

The Triage X announcement coming after Sentai announced their licensing of the title seems even stranger. Normally they would control any licensing for further streaming in the US and Canada past that point, so I have to wonder if this deal was in place before hand, or Sentai is the company licensing the title to Daisuki.

Given that both titles are available on better known streaming sites, the late start, and no expanded territories, I can't see Daisuki getting many viewers for these titles.

Daisuki, fashionably late to the party............ or not?

Though it's better than nothing I suppose.

Sad

If you'd had the UK for Disappearance I might have been interested. Try harder next time.

Not that it matters, does it? If we can't watch directly, then we just watch the same streams 'indirectly', with a slight delay. Does this message bother me?; (DAISUKI/Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan)

We are sorry, this video from DAISUKI cannot be viewed in your country.

...No. I'm still quite happy watching it each week. (Though it happens to be not Daisuki's, but the 'other' well-known licensor's version in this case...)

Region blocks ultimately do not matter.
