A Centaur's Life can get really random and screwed up sometimes...

Strange that the manga adaptation of Kyōran Kazoku Nikki didn't make it on here! ^^ Though, I don't think it's in English yet.

I for one welcome our new MonMusu overlords.
Also, this week's survey is killing me. I can't possibly pick just one!

Rosario + Vampire isn't the kind of mange they were talking about here. It seems to be, but it's really not.

This would have to be one of the oddest lists I've ever read on this site. I've never heard of some of these manga on this list. And yes,I wonder why "Rosario + Vampire" wasn't on this list, either. Perhaps, our dear author should have done eight instead of seven. "Rosario + Vampire" is a pretty decent example of the harem genre and it deserved to be there.

If, to qualify to be featured in this article, the manga in question needs most of its cast be monster girls, then I can't really think of anything to add. But if it is enough that one of the cast is monster girl, then I believe that Ōkami to Kōshinryō would've been a good choice.
As of the poll, I chose Oshino Meme, mainly for is crucial role in guiding Araragi Koyomi in the beginning of the series, and since he's voiced by Sakurai Takahiro.

Yeah, to be perfectly honest, R+V is not in the same category as the mentioned series in the list. I would say the difference is that series like Centaur's Life and Monster Musume is that they also get into the unconventional, unspoken aspects of what a different race would be like. In R+V everyone might as well be human's with superpowers for all the physical difference they have.
This whole monster girl boom that began on PIXIV is pretty fascinating. Those who have been lucky enough to get their works in publications (and especially Okayado who's getting an anime adaptation) have done a lot to make this genre a lot more meaningful and intelligent than at first glance. For instance, they really pile on the monster qualities, making it clear that these characters aren't human. And because of that they can get into a lot of interesting themes that would happen. They can deal with racism, cultural exchange, interracial relationships, etc. Of course admittedly the thing the authors like doing best is trying to show how cute they can make the women in spite of their monstrous appearance. It's like everyone making these stories dares one another to see if they can make a girl cute or even sexy no matter how inhuman she is.
Anyway, definitely an interesting sub-genre no one saw coming and definitely no one thought would be so successful.

I'm in the minority of people who thinks that Nadeko is the best Monogatari character. I just find her the most interesting and well developed, even if she may not be, er, the nicest.
As for Monster Girl manga, as someone who isn't a fan of monster girls, I really can't comment...
...But if we're talking about Monster GUYS, then I really can't pick anything other than Orenchi no Furo Jijou. I know it doesn't technically meet the Monster Girls criteria but shut up.

Vampire anime is its own subgenre. You wouldn't put Twilight in a list of monster movies.

Wouldn't My Bride is a Mermaid (Seto no Hanayome) technically count as well?
