Imagine my dismay to discover this new manga has nothing at all to do with Al Pacino.
Alas!

Nice to see they've put up a page. What I really like is that they've listed what sex the author was. Some fans and I have always thought Kouyu was a male. I find it nice to know it's a female artist doing such gorgeous art.

Ususally it is a female who has the especially nice art, don't you think? But it certainly looks interesting; I may want to buy it.

Not really. Although its usually females who have the prettiest characters but whether or not that necessarily means good art is a matter or opinion.

I still kinda wish that DelRay had gotten it. The japanese volumes were sooo beautifully done, and Tokyopop, despite being awesome these days, doesn't do that kind of job on their stuff.
Ah well. By the way, is the 4th volume out yet? I've been out of the Alichino loop as of late.

They used to, or at least they still do on select titles. Clover's release by them comes to mind as an example.

I don't believe a 4th book was ever released.

The manga was canceled due to the magazine it was published in being shut down. Because of this I'm even more greatful to Tokyopop for doing the risk to bring out an incomplete manga title. Perhaps if it sells well enough, they can convince some magazine in Japan to sponser its continuation, which most likely will be under another name.
