Guess this a better idea than this one.

Yes, this is a real commercial.

If I saw that commercial on TV, I would be traumatized for life. On the other hand, instead of having to fight other people, maybe they could just have some kind of dance off, and that could determine the winner of the battle.

Or this, an actual ad, but not from the government.

*twitch* (to both ads and the news announcement) Isn't there some way of encouraging political activism that doesn't involving dumbing down information that much?

(I suppose I shouldn't mention that I'd like to know who's drawing it... and I wouldn't mind seeing a translation of it when it's released...)

That "Seamanship for Love" ad brings back somewhat fond memories of the Village People chanting "In the Navy". Wink

Hmm. Must... place... product...

While pictures do break up a FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY-PAGE PAPER this may be taking the idea a little too far. Of course, we could all be overreacting, right?

Of course, if Alex Ross was hired by Rumsfeld to help with anual reports, I would freak out. ^__^;

there was a chapter in "Even A monkey Can Draw Manga" explaining how you can make even the worst things seem interesting by making them in manga format. guess it's true.

High and most likely there is a way to accomplish that, they just probably haven't figured it out yet or they just choose not to do it.
