I would of preferred a TV series but this film still intrigues me with its premise. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

You could just read the novel! It's available in English via Viz.

I'll give it a try in the future if I find this film interesting.

That story's uber-depressing, so I'm surprised anyone would think it'd be able to find a broader audience.

When will Viz and their Japanese partners learn that Hollywood isn't interested in adapting anime and manga into film, and if the few studios that do want to make live action anime,
just want to make a quick buck by putting a big name star in the movie, not creating a property like a marvel that is a self generating property that started with washed up or no name actors, as far as Ghost in the shell goes Dreamworks is doing this because they need quick cash, last week they were going to be sold to a chinese investment bank
What does Hollywood do, not hire any asians, I would settle for half asians, you could base it in japan

kdm: Hollywood does allegedly wanna adapt Genocidal Orgun, but the story would probably not be much more successful than Dredd.

How do you explain All you need is Kill then?
Large budget, Tom Cruise and the film has done pretty well. It seems like they were pretty keen on the idea.

Marshal: AYNIK didn't do well. It just did better than it could have. But again, it has a more crowd-pleasing story than Genocidal Organ.
