It's not really an upperhand is it? I mean you need the thing to enter, so everyone will have it.

It's an upperhand in the sense that you'd otherwise be wandering around wherever trying to get one. I mean, everyone will have one, but the people who don't already have one to evolve can now get one with minimal effort...

I got mine! My friend got his too and some things appear to be randomized.

Not-randomized:
Species
Size
Moveset
Rocky Helmet

Randomized
Ability (Can be HA, mine had Insomnia)
Nature
IVs
Gender? (we both got females so we don't know)

I gave mine to him, he's been trying to breed an Insomnia super size Pumpkaboo practically since the game came out, and mine was female (we've experimented enough to know that size passes through only the female 100% of the time since I had randomly gotten a super sized one while hunting like 5 Pumpkaboo in, though no HA). He'll give me one of his really good IV'd breejects in return.

I misunderstood, I thought it was a special kind of Pumpkaboo that you could only get through the promotion, my bad
