Still is an inspiration. People may or may not like Familiar of Zero (seriously haters, the anime isnt as good as the source ..at all) but this man brought happiness and peace to so many people. I think about him and his work several times a year. He was so set on finishing it even when he was so sick. He seemed to care so much about it and the world he created for his fans. I love author's like that.

part of me still hopes that one of his colleagues will pick it up and complete the series, may not be as good or as it was intended. may have a different feel and may show that the author is different. but the closure would be worth it

I'm glad people are still appreciating his works. There are some great ZnT fanfics out there, too.

While it does have some major issues, I am fond of the anime and the original light novels. The anime was one of the first things I started watching when I started getting deeper into the anime medium, and I sorely miss it. It was a part of my teenagehood or something like that.
