Not that I'm particularly fond of it, but isn't making it a card battle game kind of a twist on the whole grimdark girls angsting thing. I mean it's not exactly an original concept either obviously, but it's certainly different as far as card battle anime go which are usually happy go lucky romps about friendship and trusting in fate.

Not a fan of either series so far but maybe they will have potential soon...
I like the director for Selector tbh.

When I go to the preview guide page, all I see is the info about the guide, and no review links. What's up?

Can't replicate the issue myself. Anyone else having this problem?

No, but they might not be having a problem either. The layout is a little different this year, and the two current icons are very near the bottom of the page.

On the other hand addressing what I said above, I've always kind of had a soft spot for card battle anime and that mainly owes to them just being kind of good old fashioned unabashed fun. Having a show that tries to make the card game thing depressing, cynical, dark, and symbolic or whatever (something I'm starting to feel is a little played out in anime lately and this is coming from someone whose favorite franchise is Gundam) while a unique framing device may actually serve to undermine what is supposed to be the point of table top games in the first place which is that they're harmless albeit competitive fun that's meant to be shared with friends.
It's been kind of a dark time in my life lately with family members dying and/or being sick over the course of winter so I'm just really not sure I'm in the mood lately for something depressing and trivially so which is kind of how I'm starting to find a lot of popular late night anime of late. It's also part of the reason that Gundam Build Fighters had been such an important show for me the last 5 months as it really helped just being able to start the work week on a positive note with those episodes that were always so feel good and straight up enjoyable to watch. I feel like anime is going in a direction where I'm kind of going to end up missing that good natured simplicity before long.

I'm really interested in WiXoss, since it seems like it could be a nice deconstruction of the card battling genre. It will be one of the first shows I check out this season!

I haven't seen it, and probably won't but yeah, I think that those two elements haven't been combined yet as far as I know (we haven't had a daaaark card battler yet), so it's unique in that sense. I guess we have to see whether it does anything else interesting or there's some interesting emergent property of those two elements that's not present in either one alone.
Regardless, I probably won't watch it anyway because things with 'gamey' premises tend not to be my kind of thing.

Just tested it in Firefox myself, they're at the bottom of the screen.
I cannot replicate this error which means I can't report it as a problem.
Question: do you have adblocker turned on? Have you tried turning it off or whitelisting ANN?
Edit: I installed adblock to see if that's causing it, and nope, the previews are there for me in Firefox.
Then I uninstalled adblock.

Oh yes, the best time of the anime season has come. I can't wait for the DRAMA and the dithyrambic rants to come. I wonder which show will cause drama this season.
