Get your facts straight..... Mion never killed anyone.
Telling her twin sister Shion about the doll triggered Shions killing spree (which included locking up Mion and posing as her).

Thanks. I thought that sounded off.

I was a little put off by the grammatical errors in this post, but the subject itself was great, and I couldn't agree more with the ladies chosen.

Yeah, Mion spoiler[has the lowest kill count in all of Higurashi]. Still, you could argue getting involved with her is a bit of a catalyst for most psychopathic character.

Indeed.

Also, Kotonoha wasn't strictly speaking a bad girlfriend, as she never harmed her cheating bastard of a boyfriend. She was extremely violent towards her rival though, obviously.

Figured someone would immediately have brought to attention the big error of Mion/Shion. Should have been caught in the fact checking stage before posting, but I guess these things happen.

I had difficulty answering the poll question because while I have nothing against CG as an animation technique, I hate anime series done entirely in CG because CG in Japan, for whatever reason, tends to be completely dreadful.

Strictly speaking about the Mion/Shion thing, spoiler[she's not wrong. The twins switched places so that the one we know as "Mion" for most of the series is "Shion" and vice versa.] I'm not sure if that came out in the licensed amount of the anime, but it's in the manga.

Yeah, the answer arc for that chapter is present in the first season.

@Princess Irene

No, you're right, but the way she originally wrote it (and that entry since having been heavily edited) implied that she either didn't know about, or was not referring to the switch thing. So, in context, she was wrong. But, it has since been corrected, so I won't beat a dead horse.

Usually that's a case, but something in Arpeggio made it look better than usual. Then again, using a motion interpolation TV really helped out.

The only show that I have seen from the list is Shuffle and I definitely do agree about Kaede.
She was scarier than most ghosts and youma in horror shows.

For the new poll I said that I like them equally because I really do not care. Either of them can be done very well or very badly.
I think that standard animation is, on average, better right now because artists have been doing it for so long. As CG is used more often it will probably get better.
And the content that is being animated is much more important than the method of animation. I do not get to choose between CG and standard animation for any specific show, so I just take what I can get if I want to watch the show.

I've got a few favorite characters in this list, and the reasons for that are the same reasons they're here.

Nanako, Saeki not Nakamura, Sawa which should be #1 for the end of time. Confused
Yuno has more plus sides to being her lover honestly, at least you can somewhat reason with her and to be fair.. she does have a reason for her motives. Imo Yuno's highly overrated for yandere queen but she's still awesome regardless.

But no.. nothing beats Nakamura she's Satan's child, that girl ain't right. But strangely enticing in a Succubus like way..

Yuno's not overrated as a Yandere - she defines it pretty much xD More to the point Yuno has very good reason's to act the way she does, in that her mentality is a product of her environment - that's why she's more interesting than a lot of other Yandere's. That and the lengths she's willing to go for her love...luckily in that case the other party's willing xD

With that said I find Yandere's quite entertaining, so it's a bit of a pain to be objective on this issue :p
