My girlfriend is way excited, lol. One of the oldest brands in the world, too, which is super cool. I believe there will also be a fashion show.

Nice, unique get for this convention.
Is the San Francisco store still going? I remember reading about them opening, but I haven't been out to SF J-town in years.

Yes, I think it's been there for quite a while. I think nearby there are a small smattering of other lolita brand shops too.

Wait . . . what? I'm excited as well, but Baby, The Stars Shine Bright was created in 1988.

They might have meant to say that it's one of the oldest lolita fashion brands which is accurate.

Yes, I thought that was implied when talking about "brands" and "lolita" in the same subject.

Maybe Rosalena was thrown off by "in the world", since the "oldest lolita fashion labels" would only have existed and been relevant in Japan. It took a decade or so before it went worldwide (to the extent that it did.)
