It is Naruto Shippuden at 12:30 am, not Naruto, which airs at 3:00 am. That's the big difference.

I wonder if the One Piece viewership is good as well? I thought that since they're on a pretty action packed arc, that more people would tune in.

I hope it does get good enough viewership. I stay up just to catch every episode.

Given the demographics it seems like they could've gotten away without having to censor Space Dandy ep 3 at all. They should've used this as an experiment, to test a change in policy. That'll really bring in the viewers

It's doing fine. It's not hitting millions in ratings like it did months ago back in the summer, but that doesn't mean it's not well for a show airing at 1am on a late Saturday night.

They'll probably do even better if they air them on week nights. "Shippuden" and "One Piece" have enough episodes dubbed to get away with that. I'm sure people would rather have that than a reairing of a "Family Guy" episode they showed three hours before.

Except the numbers prove that's EXACTLY what people want. More than half of the top 50 shows of Adult Swim last week were Seth McFarlane reruns. Bleach barely broke into the list and Space Dandy is #39. The days of Adult Swim Action on weekdays are over. I'm okay with that. By the looks of things Space Dandy is able to keep up with The Boondocks episode that comes immediately before it, so Toonami might get the 11PM half hour before the year's end.
