Excellent. More details are always a good thing. Now if someone here in the US would license this thing...

In a CD bundled with the magazine, the staff also indicated that the anime will differ in some aspects from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle PlayStation 3 video game. The cast for the anime will be announced at the Jump Festa 2014 event on December 21 and 22.

I really hope they don't change the VAs.

They were absolutely PERFECT. Well, aside from Sugita's Old Joesph. Maybe.

I really hope by differences, they mean filling in the plot holes that Araki had in the original or adding stuff. I'm just hoping they don't trim it down as much as the older one (The OVA). I want my full Stardust Crusaders adaption please, complete with SOME of the 'Stands of the Week."

I don't think they explicitly said they'll be changing the voices. I think they might mean the difference in emotion and dialogue in the anime, whereas ASB had just quotes and battlecries.

The show would've been licensed by now if music and naming issues weren't a factor. Even if Roundabout could be nerfed for an instrumental replacement, there is still the matter of the pronounciation of certain character names and whether or not they infringe upon the domain of music bands themselves.

The TV show does fix a few continuity errors (such as adding the star birthmark to Jonathan) but I am unsure about the fixing of plot holes. I would LOVE to be proven wrong here.

I also hope the TV version will actually show Midler. Smile

What do they mean by "different from the video game?"
I never played it, so are they talking about voice actors, artwork or what?

Really curious about the cast! Hope they have OnoD as Joutarou like in ASB, but I wonder how that'd go if they announce at Jump Festa since OnoD (and I ^__^) will be at the OrePara event that same weekend. Will OnoD be the main character and just not be at the announcement event??

It's a real dick move for David to use APPP's promo art to sell Jojo. If your arc's not ready, then fine. But don't be taking credit for other people's work.

I'm hoping the soundtrack will be contain remixes of the CAPCOM character themes from the arcade game. The CAPCOM game is awesome and the music in it is incredible. Very Happy

It's not. It's just similar. This promo is from the new character designer they are using. Just go check their site to see more clearly.
