That warrants an arrest?
And I thought I had too much responsibility for my pay working as a store clerk. |

This is the first time I have ever heard about someone being arrested for releasing a spoiler.

Yeah and I would protest this arrest, you don't see people in US getting arrested for releasing a spoiler for a video game, movie, TV shows, etc... This law is starting to become more draconian. |

This isn't the same as posting spoilers. This isn't like someone telling what was in the Doctor Who S7 finale, because they got their box set early. This is like someone going and posting video of that, knowing that it's copyright infringement.
You have to buy the magazine to read the article. This isn't a case of "oh, let me leak an online article early." He took photos of the article and illegally published them. It's copyright infringement. |

Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah that would make sense. Thanks for clearing it up for me. |

Boo. Boo, Nippon. Boooooo.
I highly doubt one camera-phone quality picture of an article is worthy of an arrest. |

The article is the text, not the typeface. If the "camera-phone quality" post was readable, then he just posted 100% of it.
Don't take stuff that isn't yours to take. A child of five knows this. An adult of forty-four needs to re-learn it, apparently. |

Why is Japan starting to become a nation of copyright trolls?

Well Japan enforced copyright and anti-piracy law very well yet they go too soft on the traffic laws and road safety. |

I wouldn't say evil (what make you think that). Maybe paranoid, slightly corrupted, and not distinguishing priority (I mean prioritizing piracy over road safety is a big issue). |

Have you seen a decent camera phone's quality in the last few years? Get a steady shot and you can read text. |
