Yay for Viz. This is definitely a good move for them.

Now, please let's not send it to Ocean for dubbing. Ocean is okay most of the time, but this dub needs to be one of those dubs that'll stay in people's memories for a long while.

I still say the character designs make it seem sick. When the male lead looks forty, and the female lead looks 12, I can not condone the show.

According to the ANN Encyclopedia, Ocean Group is already slated to do the dub. Sorry Craeyst.

well it's aboot friggin time! I've seen fansubs too many times to remember anymore Smile hopefully it will be done well, and become another of the unfortunatly few kick-ass dubs (of course, people will have to get past the disturbing age difference in the animation)

Shuji is just really large for his age, and Chise is really small for her age. It may look wierd at first, but geez, since when did anime character designs have to be realistic?

Judging by Viz's track record, this series will go to the Westwood branch of Ocean ("Inuyasha", "Gundam Wing"), not Blue Water ("Crest of the Stars", "G Gundam"). And if Westwood can do with "SaiKano" what they did with "SoulTaker", I'm very looking forward to this dub.

Arxane, what's this about different divisions at Ocean? I'm curious.

...actually, I'll skip the histrionics. Sakechan, I'm SO right there in the fanboat with ya, though. I've been waiting extremely impatiently for this damn thing to get announced. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to do a couple victory laps around my house, whilst screaming at the top of my lungs.
