That's cool to actually see a legal streaming of the third TV series, since that was the only Lupin TV series to not be stream on Hulu.

Hulu is a terrible choice though. It's annoying you must sign up in order to watch on Hulu's site due to a hard adults-only restriction. But even more annoying are their ads. They are fully mimicking TV with the frequency and duration of ads. It's a total turnoff. CR's free option doesn't have as many ads. And from what I understand, Hulu's paid membership still has ads.

Kind of a terrible series. But they did take some elements from these episodes and made some of the early TV specials with them.

configspace: Yes, but TMS wants to sell the Lupin brand to the broadest possible audience here, and CR won't cut it.

Daiksuki.net has it. They have up to episode 22 so far.

I'm also all in for someone to license rescue the red jacket series. If its not too expensive or difficult to license that is.

I'd have preferred for them to have focused on posting the rest of the Part II episodes subbed (or, a man can dream, work on dubbing them and releasing them independently) than to have them start posting Part III, but more Lupin is more Lupin, so can't complain too much :p

Radical! Pink jacket Lupin is sooo cute. And what about that dreamy, space agey OP sequence? To die for!!

E-master: I don't think it's expensive, just time-consuming if you want to have it done right like the other Lupin Discotek releases. Though one of these days, Reed's gotta put up a poll asking if fans are ok with just getting the show out there again, without the liner notes. It'd be a lot faster that way, but it wouldn't be as cool, so...

Autogyro: There has been an unsubstantiated rumour of ghost dubs for the rest of the show, but nothing has come of it so far.

As a Lupin fan, I am conflicted. I enjoy Part 3, but Hulu kinda stinks. Also, it's the weakest link in the series. Honestly, I wish they would just finish dubbing the rest of Part 2, even though they probably can't get all the old VA's. I would say that the dub of Part 2 is far, far superior to the sub of any other Lupin work.

Thought that was just the dubs last time I looked. Are they sticking the subs somewhere?

...This is awesome, but also, dammit TMS. I'm coming off of a huge Lupin marathon here, and ready for a break - I don't need more to get to in my near future, bah! Laughing

It's about damned time we got Part III in the US. Now if only they could stream Legend of the Gold of Babylon and The Fuma Conspiracy...

Prepare to be disappointed if they do.
