huh, didn't expect that casting choice; I was thinking for someone a bit older or more grizzled. Though I suppose that matters little since Shishio is covered from head to toe in bandages

Its certainly an interesting cast choice! I can't wait to see him in his costume though. A live action Shishio might be kind of hard to do believably. Judging by the costume work on the first movie, I feel like his character is in good hands.

Really? Fujiwara is a terrible actor. All of his delivery is either monotone or consists of screaming his lines.

Wow.
Even though he's the same age as Shishio, he looks way too young for the role. And despite Shishio might be considered the the same archetype as Light (evil madman who wants to take over the world), they are not on the same level, so yeah, I'm not convinced about this casting. Well, at least it will affect ticket sales: Fujiwara fangirls will definitely watch the movie. And realize they see nothing, but the eyes of Fujiwara  (And bondages. Tons of bondages  )

Fujiwara SUCKS, he overacts in every single role. These sequels are doomed, OMG the producers are stupid. Hiroshi Abe needs to be Seijuro Hiko to compensate for this stupid miscast. I can't believe it, Tatsuya "shitty actor" Fujiwara as Shishio Makoto .

HMM... He was Okita in the Shinsengumi!! Taiga drama....... I really can't imagine him as Shishio. |
