See, no reason to get mad about Aniplex charging those high prices for Gurren Lagann now. Like always, they'll give the free streaming option as well.

The article's title has mispelled "Slaters", when it's meant to be "Slayers".

Yeah... SUB ONLY.

Meanwhile, us dub fans have to give up our firstborn child just to watch our favorite shows in our native language.

And don't give me the "it's better than nothing" spiel. All three of these shows are old and have already made back their profits and then some. There's no reason Aniplex can't post up both the subs AND dubs for us to enjoy. Evil or Very Mad

Ryan is correct. Aniplex did a great thing by making Gurren Lagann and and R.O.D(TV) available to Crunchyroll. I am glad for this, and this will be my first time watching those two series.

Since dubs on CR are are rare as hen's teeth, people who are complaining are being unreasonable and it smells like sour grapes to me from people who think Aniplex USA can't do anything right.

I did not see this coming so soon.

I guess it's really the only way to please the domestic market and still make it available outside.

the industry of anime can't grow like this, people who go online need to know already anime to search for it therefore watch it, in TV tons of new people could discover and watch it by accident, i wish more anime in TV

Well you have no one to blame but yourself the show has been around for years. You could have bought the dub Bandai releases when they were still dirt cheep. However if you act now you can still get the complete collection now before the prices really get out of hand.

Anyways this is good news for me I have been in the mood to watch ROD again.

Well, considering it'll take me a while to save up enough money to get the blu ray for gurren Lagann(If I ain't got the DVD I may as well go all out) this will be a nice side option. I and I JUST got a premium on crunchyroll too....sorta.

That is not true. The vast majority is subs, since they mostly just do simulcasts but before Bandai went belly-up, they had alot of their back catalog (including several Gundams, Kurokami, Code Geass, and afew others) available both subbed and dubbed.
