Hnngh.... I guess looking at it as a stand-alone thing, the design isn't too bad, but it's kind of a step down if it is indeed a form of Mewtwo. The different build of it and the teasing of "oh this looks kinda like Mewtwo that would sure be weird if they were related" Nintendo is giving us makes me wonder if it is indeed a form, but seems pretty likely.

I wouldn't mind something like Manaphy's "evolution" line personally. Breed-able but that would be your only result and it could not evolve. |

This implies formes rather than evolutionary stages, which make more logical sense when concerning its origins.

So I wasn't the only one thinking about DBZ and the many 'forms' of some of the characters from the show... All in all, I think the design is... okay? I mean, I gotta say, I didn't believe it was real at first. And while I'd rather them leave well enough alone, if only for nostalgic reasons (imo the first generation of pkmn is the best (and the second to a point too)) I really can't say I'm too into them totally adding on/re-vamping basically things that were already fine as is... I swear, some of the pkmn that have come out lately... I seriously don't think they try sometimes  ... However! I do kinda sorta like the design. I think it looks better than some other pkmn that I've seen- But c'mon! So help me if this is like, another Mew-something...
A 'form' I can kinda see... but if it's an evolution of sorts, I think it'll take away from how 'epic' (in a sense) he used to be. And I really do wonder sometimes if this won't end up changing some of the story about Mewtwo too... (I wonder about this everytime there's a new legendary.) But I think, in a way, it'd be sorta nice to see Mewtwo again... As a legendary... Forget it, I don't know what I'm talking about anymore. I guess I'll just stop. Wait and see what happns and then have an opinion. Because as far as anything PKMN related goes, I always find myself either constantly changing my opinions on it, or am always ending up on the fence about it. Again though, totally thought this was fake. Like that one Jynx thing going around... (That's fake too, right?) |

I hope so, the only legendary with an evolution that comes to mind is Manaphy, but that one made a bit more sense? |

That image is fake. Only the one new Pokémon was revealed. Also, TPCi are referring to it in their official PR as a new Pokémon, not a forme. |

I sincerely don't understand the necessity of messing with the evolution of a LEGENDARY!! The pokemon mythology also makes this really weird. Mewtwo is a clone of Mew, the original pokemon (not counting Arceus), who has no evolution of his own. That on top of scientific genetics should then make it so Mewtwo also can't evolve. Another form or another pokemon clone kind of makes sense, since Mew can use transform, so maybe Mewtwo can change forms based off that, but as an evolution that would make no sense, plus he's a legendary...
...that being said, if that's a possible evolution of MEW, that'd be interesting, and could also be an explanation of Mewtwo's color scheme... but it'd still irritate me that they're giving LEGENDARIES evolutions. The ORIGINAL legendaries, no less!! |

he looks kinda small to be a new form of mew-two, I think this might be a different form of mew since they're both small. I just hope its not mew-three as an actual name
