Again? this was rare for a while, but then they releasesd an ultra edition, and then again released a cheap version of the show. honestly its a good show, but not worth a 4th release.

Tylor's Japanese BD was an upscale, so I'm not sure how good this release will actually be compared to what we should be getting in a post Escaflowne-BD world.

Any re-release of Tylor is fine in my book. It's undoubtedly one of the greatest anime series of all time, and deserves any possible chance to get introduced to a new legion of fans.

There's a difference with the discs from the Ultra Edition and the discs from the "cheap version" as the latter used the video from the Japanese DVDs (hence them being "remastered") and this new set will use the same discs as that one but in a regular-sized keepcase instead of a thinpak.

Anyway, I'll be buying this set since I grew to hate thinpaks in recent months (shelf space issues) and I've waited for them to announce this set for a while along with a "Litebox" for the OVA (which I think will be out in September) so here's hoping this show is as good as many have said.

I used to have the original DVD release of Tylor by RightStuf back in the day but had since given it away.

I'm not sure about buying the series again but I would appreciate it if we got the translated Tylor novels in addition.
