Well, my only reason for wanting a Wii U is now gone.

Worth noting that there isn't a Japanese date yet, not that it means you will raise enough money for a Wii U and want one by the time it happens. >_> Also as much as the original NG3 is awful, and the only desirable one till this announcement or the leaks was the Wii U's Razor's Edge. You can see Team Ninja will have a better rerelease in a few years by looking at their record. 2004 - Ninja Gaiden (Xbox) 2005 - Ninja Gaiden Black (Xbox) 2006 - 2007 - Ninja Gaiden Sigma (PS3) 2008 - Ninja Gaiden II (360) 2009 - Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (PS3) 2010 - 2011 - 2012 - Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus (Vita) 2012 - Ninja Gaiden 3 2012 - Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge (Wii U) 2013 - Ninja Gaiden 2: Sigma Plus 2013 - Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge (PS3/360 - Japan) You can expect the definitive Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge Plus Sigma next year on the Vita. >_> |

Couple of corrections, thelastgogeta:
it's Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, and presumably it'll just be Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge Plus. Also, I'd bet on the ports coming out here. Tecmo-Koei seems ready to localize almost every Team Ninja or * Warriors game. I also have to dread what Ninja Gaiden 4 is gonna be like. The original (of the new series) was lauded back in the day, and Black was just more of what people wanted...The sequel was rushed; kinda buggy, felt like it was missing content, and Sigma 2 amended all of that. NG3 on the other hand had design flaws that they couldn't correct with DLC, and then they went for a Wii U exclusivity deal after finally going multi-plat (the 360 no longer got the Sigma shaft!) Things have just gotten worse with each game; I can't help but think that the fourth game is going to be even more flawed, and I have to wonder just what crazy method they'll use to fix things. It's a vicious cycle. |

Oh good and we can probably burn our previous Ninja Gaiden 3 copies and pretend it never happen. (well keep one copy to remind people how not to screw up a game)
Glad I didn't buy Ninja Gaiden 3, will buy this when it comes out in North America. |

It is confirmed to be localised for both digital and physical releases on April 2nd 2013 for North America (Europe is April 5th): http://www.siliconera.com/2013/02/06/ninja-gaiden-3-razors-edge-360ps3-headed-to-europe-has-new-costumes/
Points taken. I still found Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge Plus Sigma to be a much more amusing name and the game is already confirmed for a worldwide release in two months. Link above.
NG3 is one of those dips which I feel they can get any worse than, perhaps it isn't unplayable on the level of Sonic 06 but I can't see them getting any worse. Itagaki and company (presumably some of the more capable Team Ninja staff) left prior to NG3's development. Hayashi has been humbled by NG3's poor reception and acted fairly well on it. We shouldn't see another one. |
