...this is clearly the best card game. I have to say, even though I don't really have the time for card games these days, I'm sorely tempted - Bushiroad's just done such a great job of reaching out to the English speaking community. Any other company probably wouldn't have bothered without a major television tie-in or whatever. |

Yes, they're head and shoulders above other companies I could name when it comes to American editions of Japanese card games and their respective anime series. Why, it's almost as if they respect their fanbase or something. Now, for them to be the best company ever, all they have to do is release the upcoming 3DS game in the US and that will be that. |

I will admit I don't really play the game(Mainly cause no one else in my area does), but the anime is surprisingly decent. It is an obvious Yu-Gi-Oh rip off, but it's fun enough to watch.
Also the artwork for the cards is absolutely amazing though. I have bought a few packs just to admire it.

In what way? Vanguard is fairly unique in the fact it's pretty mundane compared to other game-based anime. No over the top, bloody, or crazy fights or storylines like in Inazuma 11, Yu-Gi-Oh, Battle Spirits, and all that. It's basically just a bunch of kids playing a card game at their locals. |
