I really want Denpa Onna as well and I'm kinda surprised Sentai hasen't jumped on it since they are jumping on just about everything these days. On top of the fact that it seems like a show that would be right up their ally.

LE&C is one of my fave shows of the summer, so naturally I'm pleased about this announcement. Well done, Sentai!

If they release Denpa here, it will probably be on DVD only for right now. Since Japan is still afraid to license blu-ray rights to the north america region for popular shows.

From the sounds of the story, this is only a streaming license for the show for now. Which kinda makes sense, because it's one of the only shows that Funimation or Crunchyroll isn't simulcasting atm.

That's good news. Hopefully Sentai can catch up to the Japanese broadcast when it's released through the select digital outlets.

Most likely DVD if Sentai thinks it won't sell well enough for BD+dub. We don't know what King Records (assuminng they are the ones who hold international rights, but they are the Japanese distributor so they do have a lot to lose) stance is on blu-ray for North America.

I'm watching it for the Amagami designs, and also the drunk teacher. The talks they have about bribery and handing out items for the elections reminded me of college student elections, which I always called free pizza day. They had to just give you pizza with no obligation, otherwise it's bribery, so all across campus at all the little voting tents and such set up, there'd be tons of pizza waiting, or sometimes bottles of water. I'm sure university goes through this, but high schoolers can't relate yet. No yaoi sticks or chocolate, I'm afraid. Or random beer taps in club rooms.

Why is it whenever there is any kind of licensing announcement, you never comment on the announcement itself - you always mention an announcement that you want instead of what is? It's annoying.

We actually do know since they're responsible for the locked subs on NIS America's releases of Arakawa Under The Bridge & Enma-kun Meeramera.

I stand corrected then - I missed those title when browsing through Starchild's website.
