"Players can use their PlayStation Vita systems as controllers for PlayStation 3 games"
They said the same thing about the PSP. Never seemed to take off.
It would have to be an optional feature otherwise it would limit sales to people with both consoles (there aren't all that many Move-only titles, and Move is a lot cheaper than a Vita), and thus developers are not going to give it significant attention.

Yeah, yeah, this is all nice- make the Vita beam its games to a PS3 so they can be played on a TV. That's a feature I would actually use. (Heck, the main reason my gamecube is still hooked up is for the GB player.)

All I care about is playing PSN/PSX download games on the Vita. Portable Xenogears is nice.

Agreed on all points. The cross functionality is very nice, don't get me wrong, but I would probably find that feature being made available than any other.

Vita has two touch inputs, how do you propose they map that?

I never really use the cross platform feature on my vita. I just play the Vita games on my Vita (duh) and PS3 games on my PS3 (Duhx2) But I do see it being helpful for a lot of gamers.
