When Robin returns, I vote we give Kiriska her own strip.

It may be a card game, but if the effects from Saki bleed over, Kevin better run for the hills.
Though the small group of Blackadder fans will have to run away from the hills.

It's the Karuta Kraze! Tales of Graces F has a Karuta game where you match a character's quote to his or her card. I spent 2 hours playing that it was super fun.

Chihaya was the shit!
We better get a second season. As fans, we're entitled to a better ending than just Chihaya putting up flyers and then turning to the camera, saying "Let's play karuta". But boy were the matches that epic!

nice and inspired . I was laughing nearly the entire time. a lot better art this week (or maybe I am more used to the slightly different character design).

Lol, Nina does tend to get really into whatever she is watching at the moment. I remember the Claymore strip and the Monster strip...

When I saw that scene in the first episode I knew then that it would be an awesome show.

What is it that Nina's saying there? Is that a card quote from the anime? I haven't watched Chihayafuru yet.

It's coming from the radio. She's listening to a recording that's reciting the poems on the cards for her to grab.

I am infinitely amused by the idea of Myopi playing Karuta

It's in Japanese. It's the song that plays on the tape.
...Is it a bad thing I can read it?

In the first panel, Kevin already has a band-aid on his forehead. If he already knew what could happen, he should be wearing some helmet.
