Seeing it on an actual human being, the dress looks pretty nice...for cosplay or Halloween.

I can't imagine an actual bride wearing it though.

That's actually really beautiful. I personally hate dresses, but that would be one I'd love to wear. ^^

It's very pretty, but the skirt's just too short for it to be a bridal dress, in my eyes.

If I were planning a wedding, the flower girl would SO be wearing that.

But as an actual bridal dress? It's too... cutesy and childish for me.

Man, I love the dress, it's gorgeous. And I would wear it as my wedding dress, with one modification: I'd add a longer skirt under that.

I agree the dress does seem to be more suited for a flower girl than a bride. If a bride wore this it would be on her wedding night, all it is missing is the garter belt to complete the look.

I'll echo the previous flower girl comments, with the addition of noting that the construction of the dress looks incredibly cheap. Sequin strings and plasticy cut outs make for decent dance recital costumes to be viewed from a stage, but are not appropriate for something meant to be seen up close.

I did a double-take when I saw that. I couldn't tell if it was a ruffle or her underwear and wondered if I was the only one who thought that...

No, pretty sure that's a panty shot. Somehow completes the whole ensemble. Wink

Looks indeed too much like a flowergirl.

It's pretty, but this just shows why they were destined to become mangakas instead of fashion designers.

You've obviously never seen a new-age wedding dress expo. TV shows like Say Yes to The Dress and Four Weddings have shown some pretty insane designs, too, so to me this isn't all that surprising.

It's very pretty and yet undeniably girly, a stable for CLAMP work.

I think it's a sign I've fallen off the deep end of the art addicts spectrum when I'm more interested in seeing Chi and Sakura than the live model in this lovely getup. Rolling Eyes

LOL you gave me a good laugh.

Oh and am i the only one who thought "vegas wedding" upon seeing this?

I was also having Frasier flashbacks to the episode where Daphne was shown her original fiance's mothers wedding dress. It had a short skirt like this and they said "she got married in vegas in the 60s". This ones short skirt reminds me of that.

Hm... it would seem that many people have certain preconceptions of what a 'proper' wedding dress should be and can't accept anything new or different.

For me, as long as the bride wants to wear it and it looks good, it's fine with me.

Nice dress, but I see this more of a cosplay outfit or a flower girl outfit. Double checked on the photo, I'm not sure if that's the dress or the woman's under garment. spoiler[ So is this dress the final product or a draft of the dress? I don't want to sound rude but it looks more of a draft rather than a final product. If they modify it, I'm sure it'll look a nice gown for a bride.]
