This is a PERFECT example why 2D is so superior to 3D....

Well whatever, I wouldn't watch anything "live action" in association to anime or manga.

I loved the manga and anime, but there is no way I will ever watch the live-action Ouran High School Host Club. I really did try to get into it, but that's not going to happen.

I enjoy quite a few anime to J-drama shows, but this... this was one of the worst shows I have ever seen. LIFE. Now that was an awesome manga turned J-drama.

Wow, I thought this was a lot better than I expected and ended up watching the whole thing (having loved the anime, btw). Were my expectations that low? Or am I just used to how over-the-top shoujo live action adaptations tend to go? Yeah, compared to your average drama it's pretty campy but c'mon, it's an Ouran adaptation. Cut it some slack.

Yeah, this show is pretty campy. If you can't get over that aspect, then you won't really like this adaptation. They do stop using CGI to depict mini-Huni after several episodes (thank god). That was probably the biggest complaint I read on forums.

I do have to say that it gets better after episode 4 or so (basically, when it starts to deviate a bit from the manga/anime). I was tempted to quit in the beginning, but it was at that point that I decided to stay in it for the long run.
