Indeed. I wonder if Akazaki will have any trouble with new projects because of her comments on this one? I really like her artwork but from a businessman's standpoint I can understand having trepidation on hiring someone who may be seen as "difficult" or "uncooperative," though I don't know how she conducted herself otherwise regarding the project. |

Given how many mangaka there are, I wouldn't be too surprised if she wasn't given another series any time soon (http://predictionbook.com/predictions/4653).
But the article lacks something I'd like to know - was the plot cut short? Was it originally supposed to be only 13 chapters? (That is, did they cancel the series early over the dispute even if they didn't dare to fire her outright?) |
