I'm looking forward to stopping by. Texas rarely gets any of the old school icons. Maybe he can sign my Princess Tutu and Kaleido Star sets.

I'd love it if he came to AB or AX, since those are the two I'll be attending next year. Well, I know AX will have a decent lineup of Japanese guests, I just wish AB would do a little better at getting production side guests over here. They get musicians, but rarely any seiyuu or directors.

Oh man, that's hilarious. Ushicon, one the smaller Texas cons, manages to snag a prolific Japanese director. And for like 8 years, what has A-kon gotten? A-kon, one of if not the oldest American anime conventions with a rather sizable attendance, hasn't hosted a well-known Japanese industry guest for a quite a few years now. Pathetic.

I'll be making my way to Ushicon. Gotta get Kaleido Star signed (and maybe Ikoku Meiro if Sentai releases the DVD set by then).

Wow! Good going, Ushicon! I haven't been in a while, but considering that the con is now hosted about 30 minutes from where I live (mega close for Texas...), I think I'll check it out Very Happy

Wow, I forgot that Sentai has Ikoku Meiro, hopefully DVDs for that WILL be forthcoming. Look forward to seeing everyone at the con. Smile
