It looks really good in HD! As soon as the first scene went from that "grainy-faded-blue" effect to full-color, I had a big smile on my face with the immensely vibrant art and animation.
Btw, I was lucky to get my order of this release from Rightstuf about 3 weeks in advance and for the discount price of $53.99! Sentai Filmworks was having a sale on all their dvds and bds! |

Well, getting it early probably compensates for the price difference, but Amazon's currently selling it for $49.99. ^^; You paid about a ninth of what I paid for Clannad, but I'm still quite happy with the set. It's got subtitles, and ADV doesn't need my money, anyway. |

I wish that they released a BD of After Story at the same time. I just watched clannad like a month ago for the first time, and still have to watch AS.

Yeah AS is really amazing compare to Clannad. I just got Clannad BD and hoping for AS soon too. |

I have several friends who are serious die hard fans of this series and were actually foaming at the mouth waiting in anticipation for the Blu-ray to come out they have both the DVD version and wanted it in blu-ray as well. I think Xmas came early for them.
