While it looks nice, the Sega's US support is generally not that great.. still, looks nice.

what exactly is this game?

You had phantasy star 1-4 on the master system and genesis.

Then on the dreamcast, xbox, and gamecube you had a spinoff series called phantasy star online; with 1 , 1 version 2, and II.

Lastly you had the newest series PS universe for the ps2, xbox 360 and psp.

So which series does this belong to exactly, because online did have a II?

There was also Phantasy Star 0 on the Nintendo DS.

This is Phantasy Star Online 2, so it is a sequel to PSO (Phantasy Star Online)

PSO didn't have 2 before. Originally it was PSO : Episode 1 through 4 cause they were upgrades or slight changes to the battle system like episode 3.

PSO 2 is suppose to be a sequal to the series instead of just an upgrade.

I'm hoping for a Conceal Release because I'm not much of a PC Game Player. Still looks good.

yea I forgot about ps 0 on the ds, and ps online III on the gamecube; its a little confusing but oh well; I just hope they continue the trend of universe where there is an actually single player story, which is why I like universe; and not like the other online games where they sacrificed story for gameplay; I mean pso is kinda fun to play with four people but there really is no story.
