This movie looks adorable. Please let it have an alternate ending though.

Agreed Neutral
Seeing it in live-action would just be...weird.

Given that this scene is from the second half of the movie where Rin is still a little girl, I would be extremely surprised if they managed to shoehorn in the timeskip in the remaining allotted time. Even if it does exist, it will be just a brief scene at the end.

Besides, this is a live-action production with some pretty-boy actor as its star. It is practically guaranteed to avoid doing anything to upset the carefully crafted family-friendly image. So, no squicky ending to worry about even if there was a timeskip. Which there won't be.

On a side note, looks like the Usagi Drop Anime is going to avoid the timeskip too, what with it over half done (four episodes to go) and no timeskip yet. I was always doubtful that such a short series would have enough room anyway for the entire Manga story, and it looks like I was right on the mark. So all of those people who got hugely up in arms about the ending were very premature in their hysteria.

God, I wanna puke. This looks just as bad as at least a dozen Hollywood films. Rolling Eyes
