It always seemed rather odd to me that there are absolutely never any screenshots for trailers and such on news posts, quite unlike other news sources and even blogs.

Still cautiously optimistic about this one.

I try to be optimistic about this one, but I have to admit I hate the design for the new Saya.

Still not looking so good. Compared to Blood+. If I look at this as something esle completely it looks okay..but they're using the franchise name. The whole Clamp designs and such make it hard to take serious. They also seem to have more focus on school life [and twins ...typical clamp there lol]. One of the best features of Blood+ was how serious it was...I'll watch this for a few episodes to give it a chance but my hopes are not high.

The old man holding the sword out in front of him horizontally is reminiscent of the scene in X where Kyogo Monou first shows the shinken to Kamui.
Except the old man's chin isn't reminiscent of an iron, point down
As much as I love X, CLAMP themselves have admitted that their art in X, while ornate, was not the best for characters. Something about every male character looking like they had a hanger in the back of their shirts/suits, and shoulder pads. source: CLAMP no Kiseki
This is definitely a must watch for me, I love CLAMP.

The trailer is still too short to see if this is good or bad.
But the director is Tsutomu Mizushima who directed great anime series such as XXXHolic (all seasons), Big Windup (Ookiku Furikabutte), Squidgirl (Shinryaku!? Ika Musume), while other staff members have many experience with anime like Blood+, xxxHolic etc.. And it also depends how well the action (e.g. choreography) is done. So the chance that Blood-C will become a really good anime is quite huge. And Clamp never let me down.

I just can't get over those character designs. They look so awful. On brighter side of things, it's being assisted by the director of Blood+. Who knows? Madoka Magica had awful character designs, and look how that turned out.

I'm probably the only one, but does this remind anyone of Ouran by any chance? This trailer just... *sigh*

CLAMP Vampires. I am going to be very pessimistic about this.

I don't know what everyone is so freaked out about. I like the designs...I like the fact that each version of Saya (from the movie, Blood+, and C) are all so radically different. I think of it as Saya from different parallel universes.
Well, to be honest, a am a little bit reserved about it.... But I'm still sure it'll be interesting.

So is this a sequal or just another retelling? Seems odd for the same story to be retold three different times...I mean this isn't eva...

I've still yet to see a plot synopsis for this. Even the "story" section on the webpage just talks about the movie and the first series, then basically says "and now CLAMP tries their hand at it!" I dunno, I was extremely dissatisfied with CLAMP's most recent series (Tsubasa and xxxHOLiC), but if they have voices around them giving them direction, maybe it won't be as overly complicated/nonsensical/ended suddenly for no real reason.
